The start of the 2021 season kicks off with Premier League and Premier 7s and we have a record amount of players put their name down to represent the club. We have put in a premier league team and eight premier 7s teams - the most we have ever had. 56 players will be playing in Division 3 or higher which is great for the club. Sadly a few people will miss out on games as they submitted their name after we entered the teams but we are hoping to run a Saturday morning mini tournament for those players to get a game on the weekend.

Unfortunately, the first weekend of the premier league was cancelled due to COVID restrictions in Brisbane.

The club can also boast record numbers for our Club 4s championship - seventeen Mens teams and seven Ladies teams have entered which is fantastic. The first two rounds will be played Sunday, 17 July.

Social bowls numbers are also the best ever at the club - we have been averaging 18 rinks on Tuesday & Thursday mornings and 30 players on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons; whilst Wednesday and Saturday bowls is close to two greens full which is excellent news. Over 250 players a week are playing social bowls.

The greens are running very well at the moment. Green 1 will be coming back in soon and Green 4 will be scarified on Wednesday, 20 January. Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped out during renovations.
